We hear parents often say that they will not bring kids travelling until they are old enough to remember.
YES, your little ones will unlikely to remember details about your travels, especially ones from early age. But in some ways is it not similar to any parent telling their baby “I love you” everyday even though they will not understand until they are at least a toddler?
While travelling, your little ones will learn new habits and it is also easier to teach travel habits (such as sitting in planes, staying in hotels) at younger age.
So far during our travels Berlin have learnt swimming, discover his love of pizza and become a great little flyer. Also (not that he will remember), he has visited a few charities and make countless people smile along the way.
Even adults will struggle to remember details of a holiday travel. In our case we don’t necessarily remember details from all our 7 years of travelling but we always look back fondly on every single trip and motivate us to keep travelling.
Finally, little ones are generally born gifted with curiosity. Your little ones are too precious to be kept at home. Take their curiosity beyond pages of a text book and discover this wonderful world through travelling
